BEST LINEAR UNBIASED ESTIMATION IN SCALED GENERALIZED EXPONENTIAL DISTRIBUTION UNDER TYPE II CENSORING

Abstract
Reference [6] derived the exact expressions for single and product moments of order statistics for standard generalized exponential (GE) distribution. Using these expressions, in this paper, we have computed the weights of the BLUE of scale parameter of the two-parameter GE based on complete samples and type-II right censored samples of size up to 20 for given shape parameter   Further, we have developed R-program for computing the weights of the BLUE of scale parameter for any type II censored sample of size up to 20 for any choice of shape parameter in the interval [1.5, 6.0]. Finally, we demonstrate the computation of the BLUE with two illustrations. Â
