TEST OF ACCURACY OF SOME DISTANCE MEASURES USE IN THE APPLICATION OF INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY SETS IN MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS

Abstract
Intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) is very lucrative in decision science due to the fact that, it incorporates parameters that are integral in decision making. Many applications of intuitionistic fuzzy sets in decision mathematics are carried out using distance measures as tools. We reiterate the application of IFS in diagnostic medicine using some distance measures proposed by E. Szmidt and J. Kacprzyk, comparing the distances, and then give the range of accuracy of the distance measures.
